Gas–Liquid Flow Behavior in Condensate Gas Wells under Different Development Stages

چکیده
The phase state prediction methods of condensate gas are relatively mature, but the effect changes on gas–liquid mixture flow behavior and liquid-carrying capacity has not been researched in detail. This study applied PIPESIM software to predict fluid properties under different development stages a reservoir Shengli Oilfield determined diagram physical well stream basis optimized equation (EOS). Then influence change characteristics wellbore critical velocity was analyzed. showed that compared with early stage, fewer heavy components produced ratio is increased late stage reservoir. In addition, pressure loss decreased, rate reduced, liquid-lifting difficulty reduced for gas. reason liquid density decreases obviously due change, while almost unchanged, oil–gas surface tension obviously, resulting decrease velocity. At same time, variation compressibility factor very small, which leads rate.

متن کاملBeyond the Limitations of API RP-14E Erosional Velocity -A Field Study for Gas Condensate Wells
Fluid velocity has the potential to cause severe erosion damage to oil & gas production infrastructure. In order to avoid or alleviate damage due to erosion, the American Petroleum Institute Recommended Practice (API RP) 14E recommends a threshold fluid velocity for production tubing and pipelines. However, field and laboratory data have proven that the applied empirical constants, known as C-f...
متن کاملPositive Coupling Effect in Gas Condensate Flow Capillary Number Versus Weber Number
Positive coupling effect in gas condensate reservoirs is assessed through a pure theoretical approach. A combination of linear stability analysis and long bubble approximation is applied to describe gas condensate coupled flow and relative permeability, thereof. The role of capillary number in gas condensate flow is clearly expressed through closed formula for relative permeability. While the m...
متن کاملDesigning for Different Stages in Behavior Change
The behavior change process is a dynamic journey with different informational and motivational needs across its different stages; yet current technologies for behavior change are static. In our recent deployment of Habito, an activity tracking mobile app, we found individuals ‘readiness’ to behavior change (or the stage of behavior change they were in) to be a strong predictor of adoption. Indi...
